How to Buy Mystic Messenger Merch from Cheritz

This is a guide to purchasing items from the Mystic Messenger official store (click for the game intro and Another Story walkthrough). For the unboxing post, check out this article. Originally written in 2016, some info has been updated but things may still be out of date — with the Taiwan server shutting down, this is meant as a reference for fellow fans playing the international version.

I remember thinking, who on earth would pay that much for the VIP Package… and then I just went ahead and bought it anyway (long story short: overworked brain = impulse purchase). But honestly? Zero regrets.

Actually, I bought the 707 cushion first. Then one day, out of nowhere, I just snapped and went for the VIP package too. Figured shipping was already going to be expensive, so why not combine it, right? XD

I actually asked Cheritz to combine my orders and refund the shipping difference — they handled it pretty quickly. If you ever run into a similar situation, feel free to drop a comment below!

How to Buy from the Cheritz Store

Since this is the international version, head directly to the Cheritz official store. If the site loads in a different language, you can switch to English using the menu in the top right corner.

Once you’re on the site, create an account and log in using the top right menu, or go directly to the VIP package page.

Choose your quantity and version (currently available in English, Korean, and Spanish), then click “Order” (goes straight to checkout) or “Cart” (adds to your cart). Once you’ve added everything you want, head to “Cart” in the top right to review your items — you can still make changes from there. When you’re ready, click “Order” to proceed. Don’t worry — no payment is made yet at this stage.

Reviewing Your Order

On the Order Sheet page, you’ll see the Product information at the bottom. Double-check that your price is correct (the site also shows shipping fees and item weight).

Other fields include:

• USER INFORMATION (the person placing the order)
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address
• DELIVERY ADDRESS INFO (the recipient)
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Street address (exclude city and country; write in English — you can use the Taiwan Post English Address Lookup if needed)
  • City (e.g. Taipei, Kaohsiung)
  • State/Province (can be left blank)
  • Zip code
  • Country
  • Telephone number
  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address
  • Order message: up to 100 characters. I usually ask them to include my phone number on the package in case the courier can’t reach me.
  • Set as default address: check this if you think you’ll order again.
• DELIVERY COMPANY
  • KOREA POST International Postal
  • KOREA POST International Small packets: available if your order is under 2 kg
• PAYMENT METHOD
  • Cheritzplus: PayPal-based payment. PayPal is full of exchange rate traps — I strongly recommend reading the second half of this post to avoid overpaying.
• ORDER SUMMARY
  • Coupon use: enter if you have one
  • Mileage use: leave blank
  • Deposit use: leave blank

Once everything looks good, click the black “Place Order” button at the bottom right to continue!

Checking Your Order Status on the Cheritz Site

After placing your order, you can check its status by going to “ORDER” in the top right menu. The sidebar on the left has several useful sections:

Order Detail

Shows everything about your purchase — items, total price, and order status.

1:1 Inquiry

You can ask Cheritz anything here, and they’ll reply privately. Click the grey “Write” button toward the upper left of the page to submit your question. If it’s about a specific product, you can include the product link so they know exactly what you’re referring to.

I bought a T-shirt from them back in 2018 and wasn’t sure how to wash it, so I just asked here. They replied within about a week — not bad at all.
