Invitation of Mystic Messenger Episode 13
In the previous episode, Zen went out of his way to find Hana and apologize — only to end up being the one who got charmed XD
Zen tried the head-pat move. Hana: I’m not a kid.
Zen just flashed that brilliant smile of his:
Let’s go on a real date next time.
That smile paired with those words — there’s just no defense against that. Hana almost lost control too!!!
It’s getting late, and Zen wants to walk her home, but since Rika’s apartment location can’t be known by outsiders (does nobody else find this weird?), Zen walks Hana to a certain point and she heads home the rest of the way on her own.

She gets home pretty late — and there’s a letter waiting for her. It’s from Rui!
Hana can’t wait and writes back immediately, setting up a time to meet.

On the day of the meeting, Rui’s studio is enormous — the ground floor is a photography set, and she has to head upstairs before she finds Rui.
She knocks on the door, and Rui comes rushing out — but the moment he sees Hana, his face falls:
You’re not Rika.
Rui is in the middle of scolding one of his staff when Hana tells him she’s the new party planner. Rui looks her up and down, then invites her into his office. His expression is… not exactly warm.
Hana starts explaining her reason for being there, and is just about to get into the party theme when Rui cuts her off — she looks completely unprepared, he says, and hasn’t even brought a proper “invitation.” He continues with more questions: the party theme, the venue, and finally the concept…
Hana: We’re going for a “cute” and “warm” style to match the theme for the children…
Rui: “Cute,” is it…
