In Memory of My Beloved Lottery — Happy Birthday

I had so much I wanted to write. I wanted to write about her final days, about the memorial pieces we made to remember her, about all the little memories. But I can’t hold it together long enough to get any of it out. It’s been a whole year, and I still miss you so much.

So this post is just for you, my dearest Lottery.

I love you. Are you still bouncing around somewhere, happy and silly, sniffing everything in search of something to eat?
I hope you’re just as happy wherever you are 🙂
